This was another minimalistic set, process wise we did a highgloss floor, a concrete speckle on the platforms, and header, and a glaze for the wood panels. The challenging part of this set was each of the wood panels was made with an exorberant amount of staples. 10-15 per board. SO, we spent nearly three days filling stapleholes with wood caulk before we were about to paint. It was something like 17,000 staple holes. I really loved this design, it was supposed to mimic an ancient Athens courtroom in layout so it created a very cool affect where the panels would project the voices of the actors. It was a world premiere show, and sold out nearly every show in the run.
